Hey BP - Less Defending, More Attacking
Everybody loves to hate BP right now and with good cause. But, they are far better equipped financially and don't have the miles of red tape required to lift a shovel or wipe a rock as would be the case if the Fed takes over this mess. The Army Corps of Engineers is already so tied up in red tape they can only stand by and watch while they try to disentangle themselves. The Coast Guard isn't faring much better. BP needs to untie the purse strings totally and attack this disaster on all the fronts, not just the one creating it. Instead of damage control teams to deal with public fallout and image, they need to get all the "experts" together and get them what they need to address the disaster in their field of expertise. And I am not talking about lawyers and lobbyists. There's already enough weasels and crooks down there trying to get rich off this already. I am no expert but, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see a big fuster-cluck unfolding. It's going to take some serious leadership and a coordinated effort to clean up this mess and that ain't happening right now. The people are crying fowl, Doug Suttles is fouling the Fed, and the headless BP chicken continues to run in circles like the energizer bunny. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, somebody is screwing the pooch!
ciao
Damn link didn't work but anyway I see where Palin is greasing her skids with spilled crude. That's all we needed was that airhead roiling the oily waters. Must have figured out how to make some $$$ off the disaster. Spill Baby Spill!
