BP Wants Your Help

I agree this spill needs to be contained and controlled at all costs. But, I think BP should be charged for every tax dollar that is spent helping them. They have been recording record profits for years at the consumers expense and I'll be damned if I am going to pay to help them clean up their mess! Besides, we'll all pay at the pump eventually! It sure doesn't appear there was much of a contingency plan for this type of emergency other than a wing and a prayer. I'm no tree hugger or bunny kisser but, this could be off the Right or Left coast next. Or, in Alaskan waters. We need to be mindful of our animal friends and their environment because we have already polluted ours! How does that "Drill Baby, Drill" sound to you now Sarah?

Good Morning Coffee

Coffee: Is it healthier than you think?
Hurray! Coffee is good for you! Where would the world be without coffee? Here are some interesting quotes from some famous, and some not so famous people.

"It is inhumane, in my opinion, to force people who have a genuine medical need for coffee to wait in line behind people who apparently view it as some kind of recreational activity. I bet this kind of thing does not happen to heroin addicts. I bet that when serious heroin addicts go to purchase their heroin, they do not tolerate waiting in line while some dilettante in front of them orders a hazelnut smack-a-cino with cinnamon sprinkles". ~Dave Barry

This one cracks me up. Prohibition thoughts did not begin with Alcohol.

"Coffee leads men to trifle away their time, scald their chops, and spend their money, all for a little base, black, thick, nasty, bitter, stinking nauseous puddle water." ~The Women's Petition Against Coffee, 1674

"Caffeine is my shepherd; I shall not doze.
It maketh me to wake in green pastures:
It leadeth me beyond the sleeping masses.
It restoreth my buzz:
It leadeth me in the paths of consciousness for its name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of addiction,
I will fear no Equal™:
For thou art with me; thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me.
Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of The Starbucks:
Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over.
Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life:
And I will dwell in the House of Mochas forever".
~Author Unknown

"I had some dreams, they were clouds in my coffee". ~Carly Simon

Here's one for you Trekkies:

"Coffee, the finest organic suspension ever devised". ~Star Trek: Voyager

No, this next one is Not by a General or Military guy, but you would think so.

This coffee falls into your stomach, and straightway there is a general commotion. Ideas begin to move like the battalions of the Grand Army of the battlefield, and the battle takes place. Things remembered arrive at full gallop, ensuing to the wind. The light cavalry of comparisons deliver a magnificent deploying charge, the artillery of logic hurry up with their train and ammunition, the shafts of with start up like sharpshooters. Similes arise, the paper is covered with ink; for the struggle commences and is concluded with torrents of black water, just as a battle with powder. ~Honore de Balzac, "The Pleasures and Pains of Coffee"

Anyway. I am done with my coffee now so it is time to wrap this up and greet the day! ;-)

Death of Another Childhood Icon

Texas gov. shoots, kills 'Wile E Coyote' during jog. OMG! Not Wile E Coyote! He should have shot that damn annoying Roadrunner instead! And, that's a damn fancy piece he carries to kill snakes with, laser sight and all. But, a measly .380 Ruger — loaded with hollow-point bullets, in Texas? He should have a Dirty Harry 44 magnum special complete with explosive tips! It is Texas after all and Wile E is a wily Texas sized critter!

On the lighter side, ACME is providing the coffin and burial for Wile E's funeral. The internment will be on a mesa outcropping towering over a scenic canyon. Rumor has it they will be serving Roadrunner at the wake.

What Part of Illegal is Confusing?

Calls for boycott follow Ariz. immigration law. Hogwash! I say lets boycott San Francisco for being a bunch of dumb asses. If you are in this country legally, you have rights, if you are here illegally, you have advocates with way too many rights! But, if you are here illegally, you don't have the right to protest in our streets flaunting your illegal status! I'm sorry your family is here and your not, I'm sorry life is tough in your country, I'm sorry you can't find work in your country, Tough! Go back to your country and deal with it. It's tough everywhere. Then, if you want to be a US citizen, jump through the proper hoops and do it legally! Otherwise, you're just another illegal alien invader waging war on the legal citizens of this country by taking food from their table and money from their pockets!

Arizona Wrangling

Hundreds protest immigration law in Arizona. Methinks they doth protest too much! Being in this country illegally is a crime, and like any other crime, the police should be able to question and investigate Anybody when they suspect a crime has been or is being committed. If they are a legal citizen then they have nothing to worry about unless they are committing a crime. Illegal Aliens are making a mockery of our Federal Justice System which has ignored the problem for so long it is now epidemic. Arizona got fed up and did something about it, don't make them out as the villains for trying to address the problem. I wonder how many of these protesters are there illegally or harboring someone that is. The answer to that may make some people very uncomfortable. Just a thought.

Pick a Party

The Coffee Party. What's next? The Cappuccino party? The Espresso or Latte party? I think all this partying on caffeine is getting out of control! Maybe there should be a soothing vanilla party or a sweet chocolate party to add serenity to a volatile party atmosphere. And, why is it only the left and right parties that are worth print or air in the media? Where are the parties of the majority in the middle? Where are the Baseball, Apple Pie, and Mother parties? Maybe there is just too much partying going on and not enough common sense levelheadedness going on! We are a nation of party people and if there isn't a party we like, we find like minded people to make a new one! Party on Dude! ;-)

Bilking The Golden Goose

Insurers: Brace for fast and furious costs!
No Really? I mean Really! C'mon! Maybe instead of continuing to rape and pillage the consumer, they should spend some of their Huge profit margin to take care of their golden goose before it gets laid out!

Arizona Airheads

Who is riding herd on the Mavericks in Arizona? Is McCain at the Reins?

Arizona bill would require President Barack Obama to show birth certificate.

Honestly, don't these public servants have anything better to do than beat a dead horse? Is this what the people of Arizona elected these bums to do? What a complete and total waste of energy and resources!

Don't they have more pressing issues to deal with like; How Arizona’s financial woes will affect their home’s value, or the heated debate over a tax increase to cover/save higher education.

I wonder how much time and money was spent pampering the financial backers of this side show at getaways and luxury resorts? I am sure a lot of money was pledged in some way, shape, or form, to someones campaign war chest to craft this superfluous distraction and lead the people of Arizona away from the real issues at hand.

Who's Regulating the Regulators?

Dems, GOP spend two-thirds of budget on parties, ‘pampered adventures’
Getaways, gifts suck up most of parties’ funds.
Campaign Finance Reform, we need it, we know it, but we won't see it! The foxes are guarding the hen house and the Sheeple are being herded by the wolves. What money is left, after all the lavish wooing of wealthy weasels with agendas and deep pockets, is spent to program the Sheeple into believing it is for their best interest. Meanwhile, the fox, wolf, and weasel, cull the herd of any dissenters while feasting on the sick, poor, and destitute at their leisure!
And, this doesn't even address the flip side of the coin, the Billions spent by corporate carnivores wooing elected officials. Or, maybe it does. The circle of life has a cruel and vicious way of equaling out in the end!

Sacrificing of the Pups

Court-martial of Navy SEAL opens in Iraq.
Nothing good will come of this and you have to wonder who's sorry ass career is being saved by sacrificing these sailor's careers and reputation. I guarantee you these poor guys being charged are only the scapegoats at the bottom of the dung hill! If you follow the stench up the chain of command I am sure you'll find a lot of decorated uniforms shaking the crap out of their trousers on the downward slope! The term "Duck and Cover" is commonly used to describe brass covering their ass!

Fringe Heads, Followers, and Puppeteers

Groups of self-proclaimed patriots will demonstrate in national park. Here is a group with a leader right out of the Lunatic Fringe! This is the kind of stupid stunt that will set back gun rights 20 years and give fodder to the anti gun establishment. Thank you Daniel Almond for your service to the USA but, guns used as a threat in any form except self defense of your person or country is wrong! Leave your guns and mob mentality at home!

It is ironic that these Fringe Heads are doing more to undo gun rights in a day than it would take an army of lawyers to do in 20 years! Make no mistake, this is just the beginning and there are a lot of ambitious people that will exploit people and groups like this for their own personal gain. Follow the strings of money and you find the puppeteers controlling the marionettes! Just don't be surprised who/what you find at the top when you get through the tangled strings!

I Robot - You 're On Candid Camera

So, how much fun could you have with a mobile robotic platform controlled from your PC and fully equipped with Pan/tilt/zoom cameras, audio transmitter/receiver, and appendages that work? It's all available and just waiting for someone to put it all together. Or, if your a conspiracy theory subscriber, the government already has these amongst us. Which, BTW, is in large part already true. The average person is caught on video camera 300 times a day. That is a highly conservative estimate. Just a trip to a major chain grocery store will buy you some bytes on a surveillance system recording your trips down the aisle. So, brush your pearly whites the next time you head out to shop and remember, Smile, you're on candid camera!

So, how real are robots?

Remember these lovable robots?

Tea Bags Explored

What is a Teabag? What is Tea Bagging synonymous with? In today's college party circles, teabags, or tea bagging, are Nuts, or the vulgar use there of. Here is the definition of "Teabag" from Urban Dictionary.com Or, Tea Bagger.

Of course, Tea Bag is actually two words and defined by Dictionary.com as; Tea Bag. And, Tea Bagger. No such word here.

Tea Bagging defined on Wikipedia. (Warning! Graphic visual content)

On Rachel Maddow. How she manages to keep a straight face is beyond me!

Here's a first page Google result for "Political Teabagger".

To be fair here is the whole first page on Google for "Political Teabagger". Eerily Similar.

So, Tea Bags? No thanks! I'll stick to coffee in the morning and civil free thinking on the side! ;-)

Sarah Sumping

Sell Baby, Sell. Sarah's a hot commodity these days and not shy about selling herself to the highest bidder. It's all about the $$$!

Trashed document outlines alleged perks for Palin.

And, just to put the Lear 60 part in perspective. Here is a rough estimate of fuel cost for the round trip flight Anchorage/LA.

1500 lbs/hr @ 6.79 pounds per gallon = 10185 gallons x 10 hours round trip Anchorage/LA = 101850 Gallons @ $3.00 per/gal or approximately $305,550.00 in fuel cost just for the Lear 60 Jet ride. This is a highly conservative estimate due to fluctuations in Jet A prices.

I'm out of gas now! ;-)

2012 - The Sequel

Who will be GOP's 2012 presidential candidate? This herd of mavericks needs to be kept in the corral. Dick Cheney for President? Nuke Em Danno! Sarah Palin? Launch Baby, Launch! St, Pawlenty? Veto-veto-VETO and I'll take "Fees" for a million Alex! It just amazes me that some of these are serious contenders to run for the presidency. It scares the bejeebers out of me! But, now we will get to see who corporate America will pick to champion their cause. If there's one thing they are not afraid of it's living in the "Fringe" for profits! Wash them, dry them, dress them up, hand them a script in one hand, a fist full of dollars in the other and call them a clean wholesome candidate for the people! Then, spend Billions of dollars programming the Sheeple, through hate, prejudice, and discontent, to vote for them! Sound familiar? There is a whole lot of tea baggers and militias running amok that are buying into the campaign slogan for 2012. Take back America by whatever means necessary! The mob is just milling about waiting for a leader to incite them to new lows in civility! Batten down the hatches and sound general quarters because this ride is going to be a rough one!

On a more humorous Butt still serious note:

Sheeple Herding

Why Congress is Comcastic Private sector Vs. government, which do you prefer regulating what you can and can't see on the internet? The private sector that wants what is best for them, not you. Too Big To Nail - Too Big to Fail?

Feds found Pfizer too big to nail If they can't buy their way out of illegal activity then just use the "Too Big to Fail" defense! Hey, it worked for Wall Street! Or, just fade back in time to when you were a little tyke and had an imaginary buddy to take the blame for everything! Even better, combine the two and pay a mere pittance of yearly profits to pacify the Justice System, the victims, and families of the dead and dying that were affected by this scam to harvest dollars from the countries most vulnerable. There are even contingencies for the occasional, or in this case acceptable, mortality expiration from the product. And, what better test subjects than "The Sheeple"? If it kills too many then fall back on the above! No harm, no foul.

It is truly amazing the crimes that can be committed and disregarded because of Money and Power! Being to big to fail or to big to nail should never be a consideration when prosecuting a crime...especially Murder. Or, in this case, rename it negligence and call it good! So, who is protecting the People from this predatory behavior of Big Pharma? It makes you wonder!

Dr. Seuss - Must Read for Adults

THE POLITICAL DR. SEUSS Some of my favorite childhood stories were written by this man. As a child they were amusing stories, as an adult taking the time to reread them, they hold a much deeper meaning about the world we live in and life in general.
