If You Are Reading This I Haven't Been Neutralized...Yet!

Here we have one of the most hotly debated and contentious issues in our country. Freedom! Pay attention folks because there are some very nefarious participants here that are willing to spend whatever amount of $$ it takes to control what you See, Read, and most importantly, your Freedom to choose!

The participants:

The Entertainment Juggernaut ( Big $$ )

On one side we have the mu$ic indu$try, the movie indu$try, and many foreign $ilent partner$ that would love to $ee any form of free $peech that doesn't $uit them $ilenced forever.
 
The Consumer ( AKA The People )

On the other side we have the ignorant, the indifferent, and a very active minority that are trying to awaken the ignorant and indifferent before their voice is silenced by greed and manipulation.

Free speech is vitally important to democracy, which is why the government is restricted from suppressing speech except in very specific, narrowly-tailored situations. But this bill is the polar opposite of narrow — not only in the broad way that it tries to define a site "dedicated to infringing activities," but also in the solution that it tries to impose — a block on a whole domain, and not just the infringing part of the site."

 While I don't fool myself that my mere meanderings are a threat to sway the ignorant and indifferent to action or even constitute an atomic blip on the radar of the Entertainment Industry, I do believe people's freedoms are being threatened and bought by an industry that permeates our daily lives with greed and corruption. So, I rant about it in hopes I can open an eye or mind to the insidious machine that rolls over the ignorant and indifferent!
