"We Don't pay attention to the people, just how to make the industry better"! These were words used by an insurance company exec at the recent insurance company policy meeting on DC. Wow! Now that is arrogant and unscrupulous! We don't give a a damn about you but we do want your money! Just give it to us and hurry up and die....or go away...either way, Shut up and let us run your health care options! For all you doubters out there about health insurance reform, this is real and happening right now! Are these the people you want in charge of your health care options when you get sick....or *Gasp* OLD? The minority and even some of the majority in Congress right now would have you believe that these people are good folk with your best interest at heart! Many Billions are being spent to make them, and you, believe that this true. Follow the money and see how much your Congress person is receiving from this industry to resist change! The cost of delay is in real human lives, destroyed and abandoned because they couldn't afford to have treatments only available to the insured. And, even then, those treatments may be denied by bad and overpriced policies that limit what is allowed by the industry. Wake up America, government run health care may be scary to some but, do you really want the people that just want to make money on it running the show? You elect government officials, you have No control over private industry whose only purpose is to make money and be profitable! Who would you rather have in charge of your health options at the end of the day? If you have to think about it then get your wallet out and hope to who ever you pray to you never get sick and need it...or have very deep pockets!
